Prior to beginning work on any case, our office must be formally engaged to represent a company or indvidual in a TN visa or green card application matter.

STEP ONE: CONSULT

The first step in hiring our firm to assist in a TN visa and / or green card matter is to schedule a consultation. Once the consultation process is complete, we will provide a complete immigration strategy including process, approximate time frames, and associated costs. Our office generally operates on a fixed legal fee arrangement, and does not bill by the hour.

STEP TWO: RETAINER AGREEMENT

If a company or individual decides to retain our office to handle a TN visa or green card application, we will enter into a written Retainer Agreement that will outline the scope of representation, the fees and expenses charged, and additional terms of the legal relationship. Once the Retainer Agreement has been signed by all parties, and our office receives any applicable retainer fee, we will beging working on the TN visa / green card application.

Please keep in mind that merely contacting our office via e-mail, telephone, or fax, or having a consultation will not establish an attorney-client relationship. Our office cannot represent a company or individual until the firm knows there would not be a conflict of interest and the firm determines that it is otherwise able to accept the engagement. An attorney-client relationship is not created until a Retainer Agreement has been signed by all parties.
